The KP 500 quick chiller is designed for use in busy professional kitchens. Its ability to quickly chill large quantities of food adds flexibility into the busiest working kitchen and reduces unnecessary waste whilst preserving natural flavours and vitamins within the food.
Chilling time: 45 kg (max. 50 mm thick) of food from +70°C to +8°C in 4 hours. 13 kg (max. 25 mm thick) of food from +70°C to +3°C in 90 minutes.
Controlled rapid thawing: 22 kg (max. 50 mm thick) of food from -18°C to +7°C in 12 hours.
The thawing cycle ensures a controlled thawing process. The temperature in the cabinet never exceeds +8°C.
The sophisticated electronic controls are easy to operate and allow the KP 500 to operate as both a ‘quick chiller’ and a normal storage cabinet - a process it automatically reverts to at the end of every chill cycle.
The flexible controls also offer the choice of a time or temperaturecontrolled chilling process with either soft or hard chill options for gentle or fast chilling of food.
Altogether, the KP 500 has six functions; refrigeration, freezing, quick chill, quick freeze, thawing and dry cooling.
