 What is Cook-Chill?

Cook-Chill offers a successful working strategy that allows you to organise your working day to make most efficient use of time and human resources while still serving creative, healthy meals.
Food is cooked in a combi oven, enhancing flavours and preserving nutritional characteristics.
Cooked food is then transferred to a blast chiller (for conservation up to 6 days) or a blast freezer (for conservation up to 12 months). The food temperature is reduced in the shortest possible time in accordance with both NF and UK regulations.
The food then goes into cold storage until needed when it can be reheated in a combi oven and served as if it had just been made.
With Cook-Chill cooking can be organised well in advance, avoiding peaks in the kitchen workload, so you can offer a wider choice of meals at any time.
